faulknerRe: Coyote vs 162 AmaxVery nice Jim and thanks for sharing!! The rifle looks like a Sendero with a NF scope, what magnification range is it and any issues with it zoomed up?Thanks, Aj |

Jim MoseleyRe: Coyote vs 162 AmaxIt used to be a Sendero. The barrel is a Hart 26", 9 twist, #6 contour, Jewell trigger, DE cheek piece. The only thing original to the Sendero is the stock, HS Precision that's been glass bedded. I purchase the rifle in '99 and it's been a gradual upgrade. The scope is a NF 8-32x56. No issues in a NF. I normally shoot at 22 to 28x. In tight quarters, I'll back down to 8x and the scope will focus at 25 yds. The glass is superb and NF customer service is excellant. I send mine back every few years for cleaning at no charge to me. Hope to do some long range coyote hunting after Christmas.PS- Thanks Nathen for all your help. |
