Lane SalvatoWith the discontinuation of Hornady's A-Max bullets in 7 mm (284) it will be interesting to see if the new ELD-X bullets will perform. I've heard from more than one source that they do indeed work well out long as well as within 300 yards.Do any of you have experience with this bullet yet? |

Nathan FosterRe: 7 mm A-Max DiscontinuedHi Lane, it is the ELD-M you need to focus on for your 7mm-08 as this is basically the same as the A-MAX. The ELD-X has a heavier jacket, a high BC version of the SST.Magnum shooters will be happy to know that they will finally have a 180 grain A-MAX in the form of the ELD-M. BC's have yet to be confirmed. |

Lane SalvatoRe: 7 mm A-Max DiscontinuedThanks Nathan. I missed that. I do get a bit confused with all of the bullet choices. |
