Rainer KellerHi Nathan,I just read the blog and felt a sudden 'darn, you waited too long to order'. I bought some cheap Thompson/Center Compass rifles in April (~$200 US each) to see if I could get them to shoot accurately with your videos and bedding kits. I was going to order 5 regular bedding kits and at least 3 of the fillers to stiffen up weak plastic stocks. Is there any way to do perhaps one final round of orders for readers of the forums? I could even do one bigger order if possible and sell them locally or via ebay if that would help. And I can assist with filling forms or asking for some approvals at least for the US. Best Regards, - Rainer P.S. Alternatively and if the above is not possible: Could you tell some of the secret ingredients so I can create something close to your kit? |

Caleb MayfieldRe: Bedding supplies outside NZI am interested in this as well.Nathan, have you considered a North American manufacturer to produce and distribute your products in the part of the globe? |

Nathan FosterRe: Bedding supplies outside NZHi guys, I may try to set up production in the U.S.I was hoping to just recommend something for you but as I have been looking around, I can't find anything that compares. There has also been a lot of mail to say the same. When we made the product and got through all the R&D, I was chuffed with the product but I am not one to hype things up. I was simply pleased that it was doing what it needed to do, it functioned well, no more no less. It is really only now that I understand how much better it was than other products. So yes, I will have to try and sort something. As an FYI, we did not make any profit on the kits this past year. The extra non-quoted courier charges wiped out profits completely and the kiwi sales simply allowed us to break even. In plain terms, each week, Steph was assembling and sending kits to you guys at cost, just to support your projects. So you have her to thank for keeping on with this for as long as she could until the customs issues became too difficult. She does a hell of a lot for you guys. Yes, a shitty business model but we have always strived to support each of you and we believe that it all pans out in the end.[b] |

Andrew MurrayRe: Bedding supplies outside NZI also am feeling quite sad about the walls that have halted the distribution. It seems rather unfair and unethical having heard about extra unquoted charges on top of things. An agreed rate is flexible to some carriers...I am in no need of a bedding kit at this point, I am lucky enough to have a spare one also for next time. But I have a friend looking to bed a rifle soon after seeing the results I am getting from my Howa, he has the same deal but a different calibre, as does his brother who also wants to bed his. I just wanna throw out a thanks publicly for all the support and guidance from the Fosters, it goes well beyond simply boxing supplies and posting them out for little to no profit. The hours and hours on Skype and email. You are a very generous lot and it is my hope that a solution presents itself so the shooting community can use these awesome products and you are fairly compensated for your knowledge and time. Much love and respect to you 3 Kiwis. |

Larry SkilesRe: Bedding supplies outside NZSteph, I ordered and received a two pack of the bedding compound in September 2017. I'm very satisfied with your product. I live in Montana,USA.I want to know how much more you had to pay just to send the package. I will surly make up the difference. I can make a donation on your site. I want to be fair. I agree with folks on this forum and of course wish you well. Larry |

Trace JacobyRe: Bedding supplies outside NZI would also be interested. Its funny how you never miss something till its gone. I havent ordered any yet, but its been on the want list. Now that its unavailable in the US, I might be willing to put up the extra money to order several kits to have when I need them. |

Frank SchweiningerRe: Bedding supplies outside NZHave you thought of a bulk distributor or someone to have it on hand? You might be able to ship a large bulk a lot for less money overall. Maybe get a bunch of orders together and then ship everything out at the same time. Maybe a quarterly shipment. Set customers delivery expectations so we can "pre-order" for a desired time. Another option. Not sure if there is a max weight or haz costs. |

Nathan FosterRe: Bedding supplies outside NZThanks for your kind words Andrew and others.Steph is just now looking into bulk surface shipping as DG. We will need to find an accommodating gunsmith supply store for the U.S. Baby steps. Larry, it was not just the extra costs (as for the actual, sometimes we were charged around $120 following the initial $40 quote, took many Kiwi kit sales to recoup this). The additional problem was customs clerks conjuring up imaginary dangers. The last was a fear that it was going to catch on fire. Might be able to avoid this nonsense by surface shipping. I just need to find a U.S retailer with a proven track record that I trust, not some chop shop with different values. |

bryan longRe: Bedding supplies outside NZAre the extra customs and courier charges because it's seen as a shooting component or gun parts? This seems to set all kinds of alarm bells ringing on this side of the globe. If so calling it "Steph's metal impression material" might help it slip through easier? Bryan |
