bryan longRe: Sendero 25-06I walked away from the Sako 75 after hearing from Nathan that their barrels in this calibre are hit and miss. Also they were 23 inch and the book series and knowledgebase says that's not ideal.Sendero is 26. Will that big can have caused issues? Seller says it tack drives from 85-120 grains, but he would wouldn't he ; ) https://i.imgur.com/6Zu6Zy5.jpg https://i.imgur.com/1CatfdV.jpg |

Nathan FosterRe: Sendero 25-06Hi Bryan, I don't know what that is but it isn't a Sendero. The Sendero has a glass stock with ali chassis and painted flutes. This one has a rubber Hogue stock and what looks to be one of the button rifle barrels but I can't say anything for sure. Someone has also cut the muzzle to what looks to be a half inch. Thats the first thing that needs to go. Also, why does the safety appear to be black and why does the trigger guard look black. You need to find out more. This is an unbedded rifle that may need quite a bit of DIY work performed on it before it can be called a reliable rifle. With any of these rifles, don't write them off completely because of comments I have made. But do investigate further. Tikka / Sako do sometimes struggle to make an accurate .25 but they also make some good .25 barrels. If you get a chance, compare prices of this rifle to the M700 Long range Stainless in .30-06. |
