Chris MurphyRe: 243 and 95 TMKBrendon you will have to find max for your rifle yourself, book loads are only a guide every rifle is different and youre scales may not read true or the same as scales use in book testing.Use the 95grn book data and work up in .5 as you said. They are a good bullet and should serve you well [b] |

Brendon GreigRe: 243 and 95 TMKI know I have to work up loads I were more interested in how the TMK's and the nos pat compare for pressure as the ADI powder list doesn't have the TMK'S listed I am presuming the TMK'S maybe a little softer and starting load maybe a little higher than listedI have never used either so was just looking for some insight as to how they have reacted in different people's rifles and what I should expect |

Thomas KitchenRe: 243 and 95 TMKHI BrendonI run them using 2213sc forget what data I used but I'm running them hot if say your gun runs normally around max or just about but your worried about a new combination, I have loaded one round at .5 increments from minimum up to where I start expecting it to group well watching for pressure signs. It just speeds up the process but also plays it safe. |

Brendon GreigRe: 243 and 95 TMKThanks Thomas thats what I was thinking about doing as my other loads are fairly hot so that seems like the easiest way it was mostly the starting load I wasn't sure about but the min 95gr nos pat should be ok |

Luke OnderkoRe: 243 and 95 TMKIve noticed that you can push the 95 TMK very very hard, most likely because of its short bearing surface. I got up to 45 gr H4350 before seeing any type of pressure signs, but settled on 44.0 gr where it was drilling tacs. BTW, that is a nasty bullet on varmints, i have seen positive expansion down to 1750 fps on it. |
