new gadget for looking down a muzzle of a gun

Robert McLeanI have certainly tried the cotton bud trick but my eyes are not so good so I needed a magnifying glass and a light. Find myself short one hand...I took a chance on a Wheeler Master Gunsmithing Handheld Magnifier for $17.99 on Amazon. Look it up, magnifier with a light. I use it with a sliver of a cotton patch hanging down inside the barrel and it works really well. Cant see far down the barrel but what you see is pretty clear. I can see my copper fouling problem clear as day with this thing. I wish I had one when I bought my gun, there be chatter in this barrel.... |

Robert McLeanRe: new gadget for looking down a muzzle of a gunLets see if this works? This is a lousy camera but this thing works pretty good for a pretty cheap item. I noticed that the price is up on amazon but I am sure it it can be found for a deal.

The image is available for our viewing. Regarding copper fouling. Restored a copper fouled barrel using "Wipeout". Amazing product I say! The product restored a barrel that was immune to the bronze brush and Hoppes. |
