Tom ElkintonI acquired a Weatherby in .416 mag last year from a fellow who took it to Africa more than a decade ago. Included in the buy were dies and a good amount of brass, loaded rounds and a few hundred bullets. All the bullets are for African game, solid and soft tip, not what I intend to use the rifle for, it's for the over population of Elk on nearby ranches. FWP offers B tags to cull the nuisance animals. I obtained some Barnes TTSX 350 grain bullets and would appreciate any input on the suitability of these for taking Elk. IMR 7828 SC gives me accuracy right at 1 moa so I believe this will be my load for now. |
