just purchased a New Old Stock Remington model 798 in 375H&H mag unfired still in the box. not having any experience with the 98 Mauser style action,was wondering if anyone here has any extensive knowledge and/or experience with them. hopefully it turns out to be a great rifle but i'm not sure what to expect.

just had to have a google as i hadn't heard of them before, seems like its a zastava action.
mauser type actions are nice to work with, i would test shoot it but chances are minimum it'll need to be bedded.
i do front and rear bed on mausers it just makes it easier.
not sure what heat treatment is done on the bolt but would suggest getting the accurizing book and following all the steps
