JackI spoke to Nathan recently by email and he said that even though he can't air freight the kits, if we harass Cleaver Firearms enough, they might put in an order for a cube of kits, which would go by sea. Then we would be able to purchase directly from them.So who here from Aus wants the kits? I was thinking if there's enough people keen, i could (with Nathans permission) start an online petition. I imagine it would be a quick way to get a list of people that are keen, which we could then present to Cleavers, without everyone having to write individual emails to them. This is my first forum post, so i'm not really sure how to spread it around, or if thats even a done thing. So if anyone knows how to give this better exposure, then by all means, go for it :) Cheers! Jack |

Nathan FosterRe: Who in Australia wants the Match Grade Bedding & Stock Stabiliser kits?Interesting, we get daily requests for the compound in Australia but I see none of these people have so far wanted to respond to Jack's post. Not to worry, many folk do not like to chat publicly which is quite understandable. In any case, if you guys want the kits, I would suggest contacting a business like Clevers and asking if they might be interested. Thanks for your efforts on this Jack. |

Todd FreeRe: Who in Australia wants the Match Grade Bedding & Stock Stabiliser kits?I suspect the air freight issue is due to the exothermic reaction of the two parts possibly mixing in flight and causing a fire. I doubt it would get hot enough for that but.....What about sending the kit in 2 separate packages? Increase in cost yes, but a possibility. |

Nathan FosterRe: Who in Australia wants the Match Grade Bedding & Stock Stabiliser kits?Hi Todd, the kits were legal. There were clauses put into the ITAR regs designed to actually help folk like us, sending small quantities. But the couriers simply could not be bothered taking the time to enact this, pure laziness / going for the easy money. And no, unfortunately two packages is still not acceptable. Even if we could do this, it would cost about $80 to ship to each customer. If you work together, an importer might be able to bring the kits to you at a much lower price. |

Thanks for your efforts on this Jack. No worries Nathan. I'll hit up cleavers anyway and hopefully they'll order some at some point. Let me know if you manage to get some over Todd and i'll definitely get 2 packs of stock stabiliser. Cheers! |
