Barrel break in with new silencer

Hi Guys

Just added a silencer to my 7mm08 and shortened the barrel slightly. Wondering if I should put a few rounds through without silencer first, it has been recrowned but wondering if it makes sense to fire a few without the muffler before checking and re-zeroing

Hi Vince I’m sorry to hear of your loss. If the barrel already has rounds down it just re zero and carry on if it is fresh barrel break in as per correct procedures and carry on
