Jonathan KittermanRe: Speer ImpactI tried searching the internet and only got a few hits from usual websites like Rokslide and longrangehunting. I am not sure if many of them have even hit the market.I didn't see any load data for 172 nor 190 bullets at Speer either. https://www.speer.com/reloading/rifle-data.html |

Nathan FosterRe: Speer ImpactHi Rob, I have not used these yet. A basic look at the site shows that this is the Fusion bullet with a polymer tip. It will therefore behave much like the Fusion but with greater downrange velocity and with a hollow point (behind the tip) to help with expansion, a definite improvement over the original design. Such a design is not however new. The Accubond, Interbond and Bondstrike all share similar qualities. Performance parameters are the same throughout. |
