Ed StewartRe: remington rifle re-callThanks, was not aware of this. Says that my 22-250 is affected. I had already pulled the trigger apart, polished, cleaned and lubed everything anyway. Is it worth getting it sent away? |

jason brownRe: remington rifle re-callfrom what I understand the problem is too much lock tight in the trigger somewhere. there could be more to it im not sure. im not sure what effect the lock tight would have.now don't sue me if im wrong but I would guess if a qualified gunsmith looks at it and gives it the ok. you should be fine. I guessing it will be a long wait to send it back to the u.s to join the que for repairs. maybe its a good time to swap the trigger unit for something aftermarket if its in your budget. |

Chris McKoyRe: remington rifle re-callWow Trevor, that' a slight different line than I got talking to remington in the US, it seems the fault is with excess "goo" in the x-mark pro triggers causing them to go off unexpectedly. |

Jared ThibodauxRe: remington rifle re-callRemington's build quality has been going downhill for some time now, a recal does not suprise me a bit.20 years ago I was a die hard Remington fan, but as of late Tikka, Savage and Browning have been building MUCH better rifles for less money. |
