deerndingoHi,Not that its a burning issue but any idea why there is no 22-250 in this range of ammo. There is a great little 52gr pill with high BC that they use in the 223 version. That pill and a load of suitable magic powder would give some impressive results. Just wondering Thanks in advance |

Bryan WebsterRe: Why no 22-250 Hornady SuperPerformanceSeems for handloaders that it doesfine already, butgood question. In my experience, the Hornady people will reply if you go to their web site and leave a message asking about it. |

deerndingoRe: Why no 22-250 Hornady SuperPerformanceMy bad. They do sell a 22-250 version with a 50gr pill at 4000fps/mv. Love to see it with the 53gr pills with a BC of.290. They didn't release the 22-250 in the first release. Maybe I'll ask if the 53gr pill is OK at that velocity. |

John SmithRe: Why no 22-250 Hornady SuperPerformanceNot sure where you guys are from, but in thestate of Washington your rifle has to be .24 caliber or above to legally hunt deer. Could that be the reason? |

deerndingoRe: Why no 22-250 Hornady SuperPerformanceI don't think that was the reason for here anyway. The 22-250 is rarely used for deer hunting here. Its more for small game (rabbits n foxes) and light medium game (small pigs n goats). Superformance first came out in 223 and no 22-250, but it now does??? Coming out with the 53gr pill would be better than the 50 gr.[b] |
