Mike DavisRe: lee enfield 444 marlin??Gunworks in ChristChurch recently did a .410 3" conversion/ream out of an Enfield...I guess Robbie would be able to sort it out or at least tell you feasibility of it. |

Nathan FosterRe: lee enfield 444 marlin??Hi Thomas, the No.4 rifles can be good to muck around (action strength). The main problem is feeding. Its really hard to get the .444 and .45/70 to feed from the Enfield mags. |

Thomas KitchenRe: lee enfield 444 marlin??cheers for that nathan. ill keep an eye out for a no4 going at right price. thought that would be hard part as 444 marlin has same rim as 303 brit so shouldnt need much work on bolt but magazine feeding going to be the interesting part. there was a company in the states doing 45-70 guns and mags conversions (gibbs rifles ) but they stopped making them. i really need to be concentrating on my p14 project anyway ( if only i could win lotto) |
