Hot knife Prep

How much hot knifing do I need to do?
it seems that's the one thing I cant find details or pics of.

I made thin lines with a puddy scraper end, is that enough?

From what I gathered on the forums: as many as can fit. No flats left unburned, if you can. Not sure if a putty knife would do the holes deep enough or just being that rough would work. Someone who knows more than me will sooner or later answer for you.

Hi Mike, if its a Remington Sendero- no hot knife prep as this is a glass stock, not plastic.

If you have a plastic stock, draw lines with a hot knife close together so that it is completely keyed up. They don't have to be extremely deep but the finish needs to be rough.

I need to get this on video for you guys.

Mike have a watch of Nathans bedding You tube tutorial for keying in, pretty sure that's a Sendero if l remember right!
