Paul LevermanRe: where are people locatedThat's quite the mouthful, Warwick. But I've been to Spuzzum, and more than once. Place names are interesting in their own right, as the original founders must have had some reason for calling them what they are. Places like Bear Creek, Bear Lake, Fish Lake are all fairly obvious. But the ones that pique my interest are places like Buckinghorse River, One Ace Mountain, Tea Pot Mountain. History at its best. |

Ryan NafeRe: where are people locatedRiver Falls, Wisconsin, USA.Whitetail hunting is mostly done on the family 40 acre block that’s in a country neighborhood called West Sweden in Polk County, WI. Recently decided to get into coyote hunting as a new thing to learn, that’s being done in various farmlands and wood lots that are closer to home. |

Ryan NafeRe: where are people locatedHey Douglas, I’m not sure where you usually go for guns and related equipment but there’s a shop in River Falls called C&R Guns, it’s become my primary place of commerce over the last few years because the two partners who own and operate it are really great, old-school guys. Their prices on new stuff are usually very good and they give fair value on trades or sales, and it’s just got a real friendly and honest vibe. Not like many other shops that are staffed by 20-something tactical fanatics who rave about the 9mm and 6.5 Creedmoor all day.If you’d like to meet up sometime for a chat or some shooting or hunting, send me an email at [remove][email protected] Maybe we can be friends :-D |
