Andrew MurrayHey all just wondering if anyone has had experience with these round? They are discontinued but sell for nearly $1 per shot. It's almost as cheap as buying new brass. Except you get to fireform them and get down range practice. I am wondering if the brass is the same as the other winchester rounds. If so I think I will buy 5 or so boxes and use them for range time and then use the brass. I suspect they may be Olin brass given that they were made for the Australian NRA rifle comps. I just wonder how compatible they are with US winchester brass. Maybe they are the same? |

mark whiteleyRe: Winchester NRAA 155gr Palma rounds 308not sure but check the primer size before buying, palma cases usually have small primers that I don't think you want it is a very good idea to buy bulk lots as they should come from the same batch and will be more consistant expect to cull some win factory cases as they crimp them hard and the crimp can cause splits in the neck not trying to put you off win cases are good regards Mark |
