Michael SeagerHi folks,Was looking at getting some replacement feet for my Harris bipod (Getting bored of struggingly to load rubber feet). Has anyone tried these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353553493017?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 EFRS - apparently NZ made. Best wishes, Mike |

Nathan FosterRe: Harris Bipod Replacement FeetHi Michael, sorry have only just seen this. I advise that you void spiked feet due to the major differences that can occur in POI when changing ground types. The model you showed was worse still as it allows the user to use both a rubber foot and spike. Its hard to believe that somebody actually went ahead and produced this, there must have been little to no testing involved and any testing that did occur, was most likely performed on tiddler cartridges or braked / suppressed guns. This is the sort of thing a sniper unit will buy and try for a season, after gathering excellent research by watching youtube vids put out by some twat who once shot a very small group with a 16kg rifle and thinks that ham is the best type of SAAMI. |

Michael SeagerRe: Harris Bipod Replacement FeetHi Nathan,Thanks, aware of the change in POI particularly with rubber feet (bipods and benches anyone?). More thinking the rubber feet will protect inside slips. A lot of my prone field shooting is from muddy fields and I have found I get best results with a rear "sock" and loading the bipod. I'll let you know how I get on (probably helps the rifle is supressed / modded). I'll let you know how I get on as already ordered. Best wishes, Mike |
