John StewartI sighted in my new Bergara Timber 300 WM and took it out to shoot at a bit longer distance.I took an over ripe cantaloupe out to 350 yds, I launched a 180 grain Sierra at the unsuspecting fruit ball. The load was 1/2 grain of IMR 4831 off the book listing, I held just at the top and squeezed the shot, the forest area now smells like cantaloupe juice. Deer season opens here on September 10th......mmmm steaks. |
