borescope

any ideas about borescopes out there?

the hawlkeye seems the go. theres a slightly cheaper one without focus, would that be a mistake?

would the .17 cal one be good to cover all bases.

so any tips?

At this stage the Hawkeye is the way to go.

Either one of the first two on this page would be the go for basic use:

It will be a while before Chinese optics are this good. No doubt it will happen though. More thoughts on this in the book. Still aiming for Friday or Monday (U.S Sunday) launch.

thanks Nathan. it was what I was thinking, theres one more which doesn't have focus, they say its already focused for .22-.30 and something about it has an alan key where you can take it apart and focus it. its a bit cheaper. maybe $70.00 the same thing as your link... oh except the metal case too.
its also crazy sinclairs is quite a bit cheaper than those that make them, go figure huh.

Yes, Sinclair have been running their deal for a loong time now. Possibly cheaper because GradientLens may not want the hassle of smaller individual orders so the higher price is used as a deterrent. Who knows. Perhaps Sinclair bought bulk.
