Jon ShortHi All,I have recently moved from Tairua to Tauranga & am looking for a farm/private property near Tauranga where I can shoot/practice out long. I am deer stalker first & foremost but reasonably new to shooting out long. I have been reloading, bedding & accurising my rifles for a few years now & would like to do some work with my 7mm RM LR which I have accurised & almost completed working up a load for. If there are shooters in the Tnga/BOP that can help that would be great. While I am a Member of Thames Valley Deer Stalkers & use their 100yd range in Paeroa, the Tnga Deer Stalkers is quite a different organisation & I'd prefer the flexibility of having a private property to shoot on for practice/targets. You don't have to shoot a full match and can use your magnum. It's only 600 yards but good practice. I shoot a reduced round count to not heat my magnum barrel too much. All like minded people. It's a small friendly club. You can just turn up with your 5 dollars and get into it.They have electronic targets too now. Watch your hits live on an iPad. I'm tga deer stalkers as well its 300 I only really load develop there at 100. Sadly in metres |
