primers in 300wsm

john mitchellHas anyone used large rifle primers in the 300 wsm. I'm getting great groups but would like to get es down. The practical I have is using large rifle primers and doing great. Just wondering if the short fat cases would benefit from non mag primers or not. |

Andrew DobbinRe: primers in 300wsmHi John,On Nathans advice I run CCI LR Primers in my 300 WSM, seem to work fine. ADI 2209 powder, 180 sst , shoots about 0.6 of a inch if I pay attention. Nathan also recomended Federal 210 LR primers, but they're as rare as hens teeth around here. lots of this info is in Nathans Reloading book. Hope this helps |

john mitchellRe: primers in 300wsmI've been using large rifle primers for 6 months . no issues. es seems better . running 210 matrix and 180 sst. My rig is using 57gr of h4350 have gone up to 60g with the 210M |
