Nathan FosterRe: Range FindersBushnell if you are on a budget. Stay well clear of Leupold. If you have the funds for a high end unit, the Leica BRF is my choice. |

Matt ReidRe: Range FindersI have the bushnell elite 1600 RF, works well out to 1600 or so as advertised on most targets. People get a bit hung up on the wide beam divergence, but using one of the modes allows you to select either the closest or furthest target reflecting signal back. This seems to work well on targets with say a hill behind, as you can generally ensure you are hitting your target and not the hill. This model is a bit bulky, and reticle can be hard to see in bright light but otherwise no complaints.I previously had the Bushnell scout 1000, which was good to about 500 realistically. Matt |

Lee MinhinnickRe: Range FindersThanks Nathan. Matt I had my eye on the legend 1200 but bushnel don't list it any more. The elite sounds like a good option and will do all I need thanks for your input. |

Nathan FosterRe: Range FindersYes I have. Newcon is a criminal syndicate. Do not buy these. Do not fund criminals. |
