Kenneth KephartI had offered to develop some handloads for a coworker. When he gave me his Savage 110 in 30-06 i was surprised to see a Simmons rimfire scope mounted to it. Recommending he get a scope more suited to it we started looking. Mounted on it now is a new Sightron S1 TAC 3-9X40 with HHR reticle. I showed the scope to several other friends. We were all impressed with the quality of glass, especially so with the price point! $98 from Amazon, delivered. The only fault we could all find with it( if you can call it that) is that when adjusting the turrets, you could not readily hear the clicks. You could feel them, and seemed fairly solid. It is a shame so many people here in the States don't know about( hence trust) them. |

Nathan FosterRe: Sightron S1Good to hear Kenneth. It will be interesting to see how it stands up to usage. |
