Jared BreinganJust wondering what anti cant device you guys wound recommend. I tried using the wheeler fold out one but every time I flicked it out if it did not sit in the exact same place it was not level. |

Nathan FosterRe: ACDHi Jared, I do not use an ACD and I encourage clients during tutorials, to develop a sense of vertical without using an ACD.When ACD's first hit the scene, I thought they were gimmick. I even wrote in gun magazines about the silly gimmick builder levels on a scope after I had a run of rifles turn up with a bunch of ridiculous appendages attached them to them. Some ACD's certainly are gimmicks. But I have spoken to one or two people who have told me that they have ah immense trouble finding vertical in the field. One shooter did a test at 500 yards, canting his rifle to various angles deliberately, causing a very wide group. The trouble is, it is always a game of losing the sight picture when looking at the ACD, then losing the ACD when looking through the optic. So again, if possible, I would urge shooters to try and develop their own awareness. |

Jared BreinganRe: ACDI like your thinking, seemed pretty silly to me when I couldn't get it in the same place and if I used it in the field there was no way of telling if I had it on the right spot. Thanks |
