John D. Hays - New MexicoLast week I bought a pair of Sightron binoculars from Amazon for $125 USD: I am very favorably impressed, not super light-weight but not heavy either (32 oz.), a very sharp image, very good color, and $125 USD. These are are SII and multi-coated, not SIII and fully multi-coated. Assembled by Sightron in the Philippines. Alternately, you can get a Sightron 25166 SIII Series Binoculars, 10x42mm in fully multi-coated, with a substantially smaller size and weight (25.75oz.) for $325 USD: At $325 USD still inexpensive for the quality. On the other hand, you can get three of the 10x50mm Sightron binoculars for $375 USD. Unless you hunt alone, you can equip three sets of eyes to scope out game for nearly the same price. Comments? |
