John StrazzariI have a Sightron 6-24x50 fitted to a 300 wm rifle, fantastic scope, recently on a hunt I took a tumble down a old mine shaft and the scope took a major knock, the housing around the objective was bent right over, as a result of the knock the point of aim moved about 25 clicks on the horizontal plane, it appears that other than the point of aim moving the scope is otherwise undamaged. Does anyone out there have any idea what might have happened internally and is this a long term concern?. Currently the scope and rifle combination after a short range session is back to its tack driving best. |

Phil Van ZuylenRe: Sightron LRMD 6-24 x 50 ScopeHi John as they say a picture is worth a thousand words...I have knocked my scopes quite hard a few times but never bent them on checking zero usually ok or off a couple of inches at most at 100.cheers |
