Ed SybertA few weeks ago, I read something that Nathan wrote that included comments on the quality and reliability of Leupold Scopes. Now I can't find the text. I'm hoping that Nathan or one of my fellow forum followers can point me to it. I'm shopping for a scope for my newly completed .260 Remington intended for mid-range whitetail deer hunting (100-300 yards). I'm leaning toward a Leupold and seem to remember that Nathan had favorable comments on the Vari-X or VX II (two) models. Thanks, Ed |

Nathan FosterRe: Leupold Quality & ReliabilityHi Ed, I put my most recent thoughts into the book Long Range Rifles, second edition. This may be where you saw my comments (see also the photos of the Tri-Moa reticle looking at game). Otherwise, you may be referring to a discussion on this topic in the Optics forum thread titled - Intermediate range scopes. |

Ed SybertRe: Leupold Quality & ReliabilityNathan: Thanks. Your comments under Intermediate Range Scopes were the ones that I'd remembered seeing. I very much appreciate your pointing me back to them. Regards, Ed |
