Matthew BeckhouseI've ordered my S3 6-24x50 MOA FFP, and the place I was going to order my rail and leupold rings from are out of stock, so I will probably go with some seekins rail and rings from eurooptics.comhttp://www.eurooptic.com/seekins-remington-700-sa-20-moa-picatinny-rail.aspx http://www.eurooptic.com/seekins-30mm-tube-87-medium-4-cap-screw.aspx They are to go on a Rem 700 in 7-08 with a varmint barrel. Any idea what height rings I should go for? Cheers, Matthew |

Nathan FosterRe: Mount heights for S3 6-24x50 FFP ?Hi Mathew, I am not familiar with this brand but looking at it now, medium height rings will be OK. The 8-40 base is for rifles that have been drilled out by a gunsmith and tapped for 8-40 screws which are normally only used on rings, not bases. |
