how to use the 7mm rem mag drop chart

robert meiklehaving a real off day can you tell me how to use the drop chart for the 7mm rem mag that's posted on the forum -2.5 should it not be go up+ 2.5moa or am I getting this all muddled up simple explanation please and thanks so if im sighted in at 3in high at 100yards how much moa would I have to come up to shoot 500y to 1000 y using the data in the forum ps love the site |

Nathan FosterRe: how to use the 7mm rem mag drop chartHi Robert. The chart is saying that the bullet is dropping by -2.5 MOA. So your correction will be +2.5 MOA.Bear in mind, that was a sample chart only. You would need to have a rifle that is shooting the same bullet at the same velocity. Your scope would need to be the exact same height from the center of the bore. If you can tick all of these boxes and sight in 3" high at 100 yards, the chart will work for you. |
