Mark McClureJust taken delivery of a Sightron 6-24x50 FFP... very nice, clear and precise. Was a bit concerned that going FFP was a mistake as the reticle was VERY hard to see when on the lowest mag. After focusing the Ocular and the side focus it became quite clear. Still small but usable. Will field test on the weekend. Cheers Mark.... |

Thanks. Hey Russell. I imported mine. Have a read of this thread if you haven't already. I saved around $300-$400 . http://www.ballisticstudies.com/Resources/Discussion+Forums/x_forum/21/thread/5640.html |

Mark McClureRe: Sightron DeliveredWith the AUD the way it is I could not find a way of getting it cheaper by importing... So bought locally. $1,220 AUD inc GST added rings @ $220. $1,440 all up. I did save several hundred just by calling around ozzie shops. Found Magnum Sports to be the cheapest and easiest to deal with. Arrived 2 day after ordering.I rang the importer before but he could not sell to the public, tell me the price but did provide the model number code and confirmation that one was in stock. I bought it as the next import may have higher prices due to the dollar. Mark..... |

Late response.... but the importer would not/could not sell to the public. Not uncommon so I accepted this and rang around for a good price. Surprising by just how much it can vary... Mark... |
