Warwick MarflittSo the scope I brought a few months ago that my daughter in Auckland picked up from the seller was delivered the other day. Delight turned into dismay when I looked through it and saw a Crack in the recital lens between the mill dots! I've rung the seller to see if he's interested in fixing the issue? I'm bewildered as to how that can happen to the internals? It still tracks okay and is clear as crystal to look through? I'm not sure if it is covered by the lifetime warranty. I had a good look at the outside and theirs a slight mark scratch that has been covered with a black marker pen. I can see the inside of the scope tube were the mark is and there's no evidence of the inside being damaged! So either I just mount it and use it (Suck it and see) or send it to dealer and see if it is covered by the warranty? The seller was selling it on behalf of his son in law. Who's now left NZ . Oh well! Buyer beware eh! It's an awesome scope apart from that ....... 0: |
