Joshua MayfieldGood Afternoon. I am in need of a powder scale upgrade. I'll be going back to the Reloading book this evening to review the scales section. I know manufacturers continually make changes and there've probably been a few since the book was published. Anybody have a recommendation or word of caution regarding the scales currently on the market? I'm just looking for a good, reliable, precise beam scale. |

Joshua MayfieldRe: Powder ScaleI reviewed the scales section of the reloading book. At the time of publication it seemed that Hornady was the leader in the clubhouse. Does that still seem to be true? |

Nathan FosterRe: Powder ScaleHi Joshua, they still appear to be good. Still hearing good reports from readers and mine are going extremely well. Hope it remains this way. |

Kenneth KephartRe: Powder ScaleI'm still using the Lee beam scale that came in the kit with my turret press.Pretty much all of the major reloading manufacturers have decent scales. Some with more bells and whistles than others with accompaning pricing. |
