Hi Everyone,

I've just invested in a pair of trail runners for hunting in some of NZ's more forgiving terrain, not the sort of footwear I want to be using in the South Island high country, but suspect they are going to be useful for bush stalking up North. I used to use sneakers years ago for stalking sika during the summer because boots were just too noisy, apparently I've come full circle!
I think they will be ideal for stalking, a bit concerned about the lack of ankle support if successful though, has anyone else tried them, any advice on limitations, best socks etc?
