Bob MavinHi GuysI bought a Hennessy Hammock its the best camping bed Ive used & no flies!!!! Very compact 3lbs and very comfortable. Check them out www.hennessyhammock.com. You can sleep on the side of a hill over rocks etc. Or on the ground with a self inflating mat if theres not trees. Bob |

Kerry AdamsRe: Hammock for hunting, love itYup. I have a Warbonnet Blackbird. Once set up it's very comfortable and as you have said - no issue with finding flat ground.Because I am generally bush bashing - tree's aren't too hard to find. A bit of spare webbing/rope with you and you can even deal with not having a tree in the right place! What insulation are you using with yours? I find most people, when starting out with a hammock don't understand the ability for convection underneath to freeze your butt off very quickly! |

deerndingoRe: Hammock for hunting, love itHi,I use an MSR Neo Air. 14oz. R value is quite good and keeps the bottom and back warm. I got a Warbonnet too. Also the tarp. Works great.[b] |
