Lane Salvato
I used a DRT 95 grain Terminal Shock bullet on this wily old Axis Deer. He was moving away from me quartering left and I hit him in the side of the neck just under the base of the skull. He went down hard, but his left front knee joint was fused, and it looked to me as if he was trying to raise a leg to balance so I hit him again just an inch or two front of the first entry.
The DRT's worked as advertised and did a lot of damage. I was close enough to this deer and hit him in a place that allowed for exit wounds. Had I hit him in the shoulder I doubt this bullet would have exited.
DRT's are good lead free bullets and they work.
