Shawn BevinsRe: New record holder........With a witness.Kids had been plinking at water balloons one weekend. Youngest had his 17hmr set up to 250 yds. The following day I look out and see a coyote standing under the frame that the balloons were on. I opened the door, put the cross hairs right above his heart. The little 20gr bullet zipped through him, and he jumped straight up. took a little run before going to the ground. Complete pass through. Caught the top of the heart. Another shot with my dad and uncles as a witnesses was a woodchuck at 800 yds using a 220 swift. Uncles were betting my dad that I would miss.. wagers were getting up there. Bang.. wood chucks went down & his tail went up like a flag.. Unbeknown to them I had tried to get the wood chuck twice in the past week. I had him ranged on the third try. [b] |
