Lane Salvato

This was a large boar taken with a 308 using 168 grain ELD-M. The shot was at about 80 yards through the autonomic plexus as defined by Nathan's "killing" white paper.

The friend that took the animal got rather intimidated when he got close and shot him again in the face (rather unfortunate) but the boar was dead on impact.

I'm not a good judge as to how much boars weigh but I'm guessing at least 300 lbs.
