Lane Salvato

A family member went to Africa for the first time to hunt plains game last year. With him he carried his 300 Win. Mag. and Hornady 230 Grain ELD-X projectiles. He took several large plains animals each with a single shot as follows:

-Blue Wildebeest
-Cape Eland
-Bleisbok
-Zebra
-Warthog
-Impala
-Gemsbok
-Cape Kudu (2 shots) - First shot wasn't spot on

Several other smaller antelope. I've never been a 300 Win. Mag. aficionado but one thing is for certain. This cartridge paired with the right projectile just works.
