OK, back for an update for those following along.

I've re-bed the rifle in a HS Precision Stock. The job is now passing the 1 O'clock test!!


I quite like the green with the blued barrel.


I did some initial load dev and found 46gr of AR2208 to be the most accurate.

See pictures.

I went AR2208
46, 45.5, 45, 44.5, 44

AR2206H
44, 43.5, 43, 42.5

I did not get to test all the 06H loads due to time. Have 43.5 and 42.5 to go, however the AR2208 at 46gr will suffice in the interim. There was some strong crosswinds at the time and some pesky tall grass that was in front of the targets at the time (the wind helped blow it down!)


46gr load - Please note the last shot was rushed (range timings) and I am fully at fault. 4 Shot group is 0.3MOA - 5 shot group is 0.6MOA


45.5gr Load - note the massive difference in accuracy. 1MOA



45grains - another potential accuracy node. 0.5MOA
