Nicole has been great i really take my hat off to her.

it's been such a mess.
for us that understand firearms in and out and dedicated lot of our time to them we forget that for lot of people it's confusing.

just the other night a good mate of my rang me up, his mossberg maverick has both 2 3/4 and 3" stamped on it.
it holds 6 2 3/4 shells and 5 3" shells so he was confused if it's legal or not.
trying to explain to him that law says "a pump-action shotgun that has a non-detachable tubular magazine or magazines that are capable of holding more than 5 cartridges commensurate with that firearm’s chamber size" is prohibited.
the chamber is 3" so it's fine even though they have the mossberg maverick on the buyback list.(20" barrel model has 8 round mag which is why it's on the list)
this is one of the most practical people i know that i have been hunting with since i was 16 so really drives home how confusing it is.
